Struck from 1878 to 1904 and again in 1921, the Morgan dollar is 90% silver. Even worn, common Morgans usually sell above melt, and key dates, Carson City coins and high grades bring far more. The Mint's new Morgans from 2021 on are .999 silver and hold a little more.
