The Silver Panda as it was struck from 1989 to 2015, a full troy ounce of .999 silver with a new panda design every year. In 2016 China moved to 30 gram coins, so a Panda dated before then holds more silver than one dated after. Pandas from before 1989 were proofs in other weights and purities.
